Tortoise Turtle & Terrapin Models
A selection of hand enamelled sterling silver models of Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins. The shell of each silver model has been hand painted with many layers of vitreous (glass) enamel by a highly skilled artist. The depth and vibrancy of colour that this process creates makes each one unique and a true work of art.
The silver that remains exposed is then coated with a thin layer of rhodium (platinum) which stops the silver from tarnishing.
