The Trafalgar Grandfather Clock - 7ft 2in
A scroll top grandfather clock celebrating the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The unique hand painted dial features illustrations of Admiral Nelson, Captain Thomas Hardy and warships engaged in battle. The flagship HMS Victory, towards the top of the dial, rocks with the swing of the pendulum.
The solid cherry cabinet is decorated with book matched yew veneers inlaid with rope edgeline that has been hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an 'antique' patina.
The Trafalgar grandfather clock has a triple chime 8 day cable movement that can play 3 different melodies or run silenced. The movement also has an automatic night silencer, chime sequence and beat correction.
