Chamois Models - Enamelled Silver - set of 3
A beautifully detailed set of three Chamois (French for wild goat) by Saturno of Italy.
The Chamois is best known for its hide which makes a very fine polishing cloth - better known as a 'shammy leather'.
The natural habitat of the chamois, which is very nimble and sure footed, is the rocky alpine pastures on the mountains of Europe and Asia. Their most distinctive feature are their hook like horns which can grow to 11 inches on an adult.
