The Chatham Tall Clock - mahogany - 7ft 8in
The Chatham, by Comitti of London, is an exquisite copy of a Simon Willard tall clock made in Roxbury (MA), circa 1792. The solid mahogany case is covered with marquetry inlayed curl veneers that have been lovingly rubbed for a perfect antique finish. The hand painted face, with a moon-phase dial, is surrounded by an ornate hood with corinthian columns and brass fittings. The period hands are driven by a triple chime cable movement that can be set to play Westminster, Whittington or St Michael melodies. At 7' 8" the Chatham requires a room with good ceiling heights to be fully appreciated.
The price shown for the Chatham Tall Clock includes delivery and installation on mainland Britain, a 2 year guarantee and the benefit of our Lifetime Support promise. If you would like more information or to confirm availability please contact us
