Enamelled Silver English Bulldog Figurine - large
This beautifully detailed Sterling Silver English Bulldog figurine has been hand enamelled and then rhodium plated. Dating back to the early 1600's the English Bulldog was originally bred for hunting, guarding and bull baiting (this was banned in 1835). The English Bulldog of today is stubborn, fairly docile and devoted and makes a great family dog.
The Italian craftsmen who create these exquisite Bulldog models pride themselves on their meticulous attention to detail. Once they have studied an animal's features they make a wax prototype from which the Sterling Silver models are cast. Each Bulldog model is then hand enamelled, baked in a kiln and rhodium plated to ensure a perfect finish that will not tarnish.
