A fine silver model of a Fallow Buck with its very distinctive palmated (flattened) antlers. The hand painted vitreous (glass) enamel is built up in many layers of various shades, giving the colour of the coat great depth and shine.
The silver that remains exposed has been rhodium (platinum) plated to stop it from tarnishing.
