Silver Christening Mug - Scroll Engraved
A reproduction of a panelled solid silver christening mug from the Victorian era - alternate panels having been engraved with an intricate scroll pattern. The mug also has an applied cast scroll handle and stepped base. The inside surface has been gilded, as would have been done in Victorian times, to protect the silver from being marked by whatever drink the infant may be given.
The mug comes in a lined gift box.
